Polystyrene sheets
For cold rooms, waterproofing basements and slabs, fighting mould, or as joints that absorb thermal movement.
With polystyrene sheets you can also make your own low-cost orthopedic mattress: lay plywood or hard cardboard on your bed base, then polystyrene at the thickness you want, then a 3–4 cm layer of foam.
